Color Guards

The Incline Highlander Battalion hosts several Color Guards each year.  Most of the Incline Highlander Battalion Color Guards have four Cadets.  The two Cadets on the ends of the Color Guard are the Guards.  The Guards either hold rifles or sabers.  The two Cadets in the Center are the Flag Bearers.  One of the Flag Bearers held the United States Flag, while the other Flag Bearer held the Nevada State Flag.  If you would like to see a color guard, most of the Highlander Battalion Color Guards are at home varsity sports games.
As well as having Color Guards at sports events, the Incline Highlander Battalion commonly executes Color Guards for our community in large community events such as Relay for Life.  The Highlander Battalion Color Guard participated in three parades this year in which we had a color guard.  These parades are the Red White and Tahoe Blue 4th of July Parade, the Incline High School Homecoming parade, and the Veterans Day parade.  In the Veterans Day parade, the Highlander Battalion had a ten person color guard, which comprised of two guards, and eight flag bearers; two held the United States and Nevada flags, five held the United States Armed Forces flags, and one held the Highlander Battalion Colors.  .
